We’re raising much-needed funds for our good mate Mitch Ratchow — close friend of Josh and The Sandwich House — who’s been diagnosed with DSRCT (Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour). It’s an extremely rare and aggressive cancer that mainly affects young men, with fewer than 500 cases worldwide since 1989. It spreads fast and requires intensive treatment.
Mitch lives on the Sunshine Coast, but all treatment happens at the P.A. Hospital in Brisbane, so the weekly travel adds another layer of strain.
